Install a properly sized exhaust fan. Calculate 1 CFM per square foot of bathroom area as a minimum. Go higher if your bathroom is large or used frequently.

Vent the fan to the outside. Make sure the exhaust path leads to open outdoor air, not into a wall cavity, attic, or dead air shaft.
